Best's Great Western Introduces first Taste and Tweet Tasting - September 1 2010
One of the first Australian wineries to host a wine tasting event of this calibre, Best’s Great Western will host their first ‘Tweet Up’ on September 1, 2010, encouraging people to share their thoughts about the new release Best’s Great Western wines.
Wine lovers can be involved by using the #BestsWines via social media sites Twitter and Facebook. This event will inject some fun into wine tasting and encourage these wines to be shared and discussed with friends. Wine retailers and on promise outlets who support Best’s will also be involved in the Tweet Up.
Consumers are being encouraged to get involved and buy a ‘Twitter Trial Trio’ pack for AU$60 from the Best’s website http://www.bestswines.com.au/Product.asp?ProductID=59&Title=Twitter+Trial+Trio+%2D+Special+New+Release+3%2Dpack that contains one bottle each of the Great Western Riesling 2010, Great Western Cabernet Sauvignon 2009 and Great Western Bin 1 Shiraz 2009 or purchase any Best Wines from fine wine shops within Australia.
There will be tastings throughout the day all across Australia, allowing media, trade and wine consumers the opportunity to tweet their thoughts. In addition, Winemaker, Adam Wadewitz will host a dedicated interactive session from 7.00-8.30pm AEST where consumers can ask him questions about the new releases or other Best’s wines in their cellar.
